Stream any audio from your computer to your stereo

AirFoil is a neat application that allows you to stream any audio to your stereo via an Apple Airport. So you don’t need iTunes. Stream your skype calls, last.fm radio or whatever you are up to.

There is one big drawback: AirFoil costs 25$.

For a free and open source solution to stream audio to your Apple Airport Express check out JustePort.

I think using a streaming solution to transport Skype’s audio channel to a stereo is a bad idea. There’s will be a delay that will guarantee you the old-school walky-talky-type of talk.

    One more thing:

I would like to stream iTunes audio to my Airport Express AND to another computer at the same time. Is there anything like a software emulation of Airport Express?

It can’t be that difficult to implement and I’m sure someone has though of that already. But up until now, I couldn’t find anything.

    Any help out there?
