Yo move!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

If you have one of those jobs where you have to sit all day long in front of a computer, you might want to consider moving a little more in your spare time.

Here's a valuable advice what you could do:

High Bandwidth (Cable or DSL): hiprock_jazz_large.wmv (270k)
Low Bandwidth (Modem): hiprock_jazz_small.wmv (134k)

There is also a fabulous free program (for OS 7(!!)-9 and Win 95(!!!)-XP) to download: CyberStretch.
“This innovative software program guides you through energizing stretch breaks in an easy-to-use interactive screensaver format to help reduce tension and the risk of repetitive stress injuries.” (Well, it didn't work on my computer…)

If you are one of those individuals who tend to exaggerate you should definitely download this unbelievably great [Image] for your desktop.

Ok, now, start moving!

(Actually, my favorit move is the “Turned-out Triplet” as seen in the section Fancy Footwork.)

IBM Heads to Open Source

With companies like web.de trying to patent everything single piece of technology, logical concept and information in the moment they see it (like their most crappy way of filtering spam), I really appreciate IBM's move today:

“U.S. patent leader IBM said it plans to donate 500 patents for free use by software developers, marking a major shift in intellectual property strategy for the world's top computer maker and a challenge to the technology industry.” (link)
